André Hermsen joined ASML in 2021 and is the Chief Compliance Officer for ASML. At ASML he is directly responsible for the Ethics & Business Integrity team as well as for the Export Control function.

ASML employs 38.000 employees in 16 countries and is as manufacturer of lithography systems the world leading supplier of equipment to the semiconductor industry.

André Hermsen has more than 25 years of management experience in an international environment. He has a background in Finance and Controlling, experience in M&A, due diligence processes and restructuring as well as in risk and trade compliance with focus on Sanctions / Export controls and Anti Bribery.

André Hermsen previously worked as the Head of Risk & Compliance for Fokker Technologies / GKN Aerospace overseeing the ethics and corporate compliance program as well as the implementation of the export control and security program. GKN Aerospace (now owned by Melrose PLC) supplies aero-structures, engine systems and special products to aircraft & engine manufacturers and provides after-market solutions to aircraft operators. GKN Aerospace employs 17.000 employees in 14 countries around the globe.
